Freedom School
Starting in 2015, SSE supported JJSE staff and students to develop an innovative summer school program called Freedom School. Designed for both credit recovery and enrichment, Freedom School use a project-based currculum that is co-led by older students and adult staff, so that it is both an innovation lab and training ground for future educators.
